Acupuncturists in Malta and Gozo

Acupuncturists

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) form of pain relief which uses needles and pressure on key areas (acupuncture points). Acupuncture is used for a variety of reasons including relief from pain and a number of other ailments. Furthermore, acupuncture promises better overall health by balancing the qi which represents the life force in traditional Chinese medicine.

While there is no scientific proof that qi or the pathways acupuncture aims to balance exist, studies have shown that acupuncture can prove to be beneficial in certain situations. Which is the reason why Acupuncture is a profession recognised by the Malta Council for Professions Complementary to Medicine (CPCM).
