World Cancer Day

February 2024

The World Cancer Day gives a chance to raise collective voices in the name of improving general knowledge around cancer and dismissing misconceptions about the disease. The misconceptions on which efforts are focused include:

  1. that cancer is just a health issue,
  2. that cancer is a disease of the wealthy, elderly and developed countries,
  3. that cancer is a death sentence,
  4. that cancer depends on fate.
